Windows XP is not officially supported. Some XP users have reported issues, while others have no issues. This difference is most likely related to installed Windows XP updates and service packs. Please test on your computer before purchasing for Windows XP use. Note that automatic updates do not work on Windows XP. When Aeon Timeline tells you that an update is available, you will need to manually download it to install.
Digital Signature
Note that we always digitally sign our applications. On Windows, you can check the signature of a downloaded file by right-clicking on it, choosing Properties, and then clicking on the Digital Signatures tab to confirm it comes from us (“Scribble Code”) and has not been tampered with.

Note: It is perfectly safe to have both Aeon Timeline 1 and Aeon Timeline 2 installed on your computer at the same time. Aeon Timeline 2 will open version 1 files, but it prompts you to save them to a new location rather than overwrite them.
Trouble Downloading?
Some browsers may attempt to display the linked files instead of downloading them. If this occurs, you may see a page of gibberish. This has only affected a handful of Firefox users.
If this happens to you, right click on the application and choose the option to “Download Linked File” (Safari), “Save File As” (Firefox), etc. The exact wording varies per browser.
